Cairo – Egypt’s state-affiliated energy services company, Gas Misr, reported a strong financial performance during the first quarter of 2026, posting a notable increase in both revenues and net profits.
According to a disclosure submitted to the Egyptian Exchange on Tuesday, the company recorded net profits of EGP 219.3 million during the three months ending March 2026, marking an 11.6% year-on-year increase compared to EGP 196.36 million during the same period in 2025.
Gas Misr also announced a significant rise in operating revenues, which climbed to EGP 2.152 billion in the first quarter of the year, up from EGP 1.688 billion recorded in the corresponding quarter last year.
