Port Fouad Club made history after winning the “36th Men’s Africa Cup for Club Champions”, securing their first continental crown with a dramatic victory over fellow Egyptian side El Sharkia.
The final, held in Harare, Zimbabwe, ended level after regulation time before Port Fouad edged El Sharkia 8–7 in a tense penalty shootout, capping a highly competitive all-Egyptian showdown.
The triumph marks a major milestone for Port Fouad, breaking El Sharkia’s long-standing dominance of African club hockey and underscoring Egypt’s continued strength in the continental game.
