The National Bank of Egypt, in collaboration with the Egyptian Banking Institute, launched the activities of the Artificial Intelligence and Governance Conference, held from October 26 to 30, with the participation of senior leaders from the banking sector.
Activities of the Artificial Intelligence and Governance Conference
The opening day was attended by Yehia Abou El-Fotouh and Soha El-Turky, Deputy Chief Executive Officers of the National Bank of Egypt; Sherif Mansour, Head of Human Resources Group at the National Bank of Egypt; and Dr. Abdelaziz Nossier, Executive Director of the Egyptian Banking Institute, along with senior representatives from Banque Misr.
The opening sessions featured interactive discussions addressing the role of artificial intelligence in developing banking operations and enhancing institutional governance. The sessions also reviewed the latest innovative applications that contribute to improving operational efficiency and decision-making within banks.
The first day’s events concluded with a ceremony honoring a number of participants and award winners in recognition of their outstanding contributions during the conference.
