ENPPI Breaks into Global Top 100, Petrojet Climbs 31 Spots Egyptian Petroleum Firms Shine in ENR 2025 Ranking

Must read

In a major international achievement, three Egyptian petroleum sector giants — ENPPI, Petrojet, and EMC — have been listed among the world’s top construction and contracting companies in the 2025 edition of the prestigious Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top 250 Global Contractors ranking. The recognition underscores Egypt’s rising competitiveness in engineering, energy, and infrastructure on the global stage.

ENPPI (Engineering for the Petroleum and Process Industries) achieved a historic milestone, advancing 38 places from last year to secure 98th position, officially entering the global top 100 for the first time. Petrojet (The Petroleum Projects and Technical Consultations Company) continued its impressive trajectory, jumping 31 positions to rank 107th, edging closer to the elite tier of international contractors.

In another proud debut, the Egyptian Maintenance Company (EMC) joined the global ranking for the first time, placing 230th among the world’s best — a significant step that reflects the growing international footprint of Egypt’s integrated energy service firms.

The latest ENR results highlight the strong performance, technical capacity, and export-driven growth of Egyptian state-backed petroleum enterprises. Over the past decade, these companies have expanded their operations across the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, executing major projects in refining, petrochemicals, and infrastructure construction.

Sector analysts view the achievement as a reflection of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ strategy to enhance local capabilities, support Egyptian contractors’ global expansion, and position the country as a regional hub for engineering excellence. It also reinforces Egypt’s reputation as a reliable player in international energy and industrial projects.

This recognition by ENR — the world’s most influential publication in construction and engineering — places Egyptian companies alongside global leaders, signaling a new chapter of global competitiveness and national pride for the country’s petroleum sector.
