Dr. Sahr Nasr, the Minister of International Cooperation, has discussed with the Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade, Raed Khoury, during her visit to Beirut, the topics listed on the agenda of the joint higher committee, headed by the two prime ministers of both countries. They agreed on the deadline of the higher committee, hosted in Cairo by March 2017.
Both ministers tackled the activation of the previously signed documents, with a focus on coming out with tangible results and projects which are beneficial to the citizens in both countries, especially in the field of SMEs and Information Technology. Moreover, they agreed on reinforcing the participation of the private sector for the progress of the bilateral cooperation by forming Lebanese-Egyptian Businessmen Council in coordination with the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Egypt.
