  The Ministry of Youth and Sports announced the launching of the second phase of the Colourful Cities project, in cooperation with the Culture, Arts and Development Foundation in the governorates of Beheira, Suez, Sohag, Luxor and the New Valley, with the participation of talented university students and members of youth centres, and a committee of leading artists from February till May.
Chairperson of the Central Department of Cultural and Voluntary Programs, Dr Amal Gamal, said that the project aims to praise technical skills, encourage young people to display their talents, and enrich the spirit of competition among them. It also aims at create positive interaction in the community through various arts.
The first phase was implemented in Borollos City in Kafr El-Sheikh governorate, where youth at art centres and universities participated in formulating 35 murals and drawing other murals of their own creation.
