Zamil to establish largest logistics zone in Qena

Saudi Arabia’s Zamil Industrial is to establish the largest logistics zone in Nag Hammadi, in the Qena Governorate, about 80 kilometres northwest of Luxor, minister of supply Khaled Hanafy announced last week.

The logistics zone is on a space of 50 feddans with a storage capacity for 18,000 tonnes of vegetables and grains. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, Zamil Industrial Investment Company is a premier business group engaged in the development of innovative design and engineering solutions for use in the construction industry.

It is listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) TASI (Tadawul All Share Index). Zamil Industrial is in the list of notable companies in Saudi Arabia and is among the top 500 companies in the Arab world. Zamil Industrial employs more than 14,000 people in 55 countries and derives around 30 per cent of its revenues from outside Saudi Arabia. Zamil Industrial products are sold in more than 90 countries around the globe, and the company operates manufacturing facilities in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, India, Vietnam and Italy.
