The Association of Egyptian Aviation, Information Club, at Airosport has organised a ceremony marking the International Day for the flight information in the presence of Captain Ehab Ruslan Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation and Captain Mohammed Abbas, a deputy head of the Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation and captain Khaled Hesham chairman of the Central Administration of the Egyptian Civil Aviation authority and Engineer Ahmed Amin and Hisham Abdel-Fattah, assistant chairman of the National Company for Air Navigation Services and a number of interested in the aviation and air navigation. Where Captain Mohammed Yasser Gawish head of the Association of Flight Information pointed out that the world celebrates the International Day for flight information, in which the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) issued a Supplement No. 15, which lay down the basic rules for Information Civil Aviation These include Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP and its amendments, supplements of Aviation guide, Aviation announcement, newsletters and bulletins), adding that the area of ​​flight information is a subject of intense specialization in the field of air navigation. A documentary film about the development in the field of flight information has been provided as well.

Captain Mohammed Abbas said in his speech that the aviation information field is witnessing a great development which is a very promising field and to keep up with this development must be our goal to determine our progress to compete regionally and internationally. Moreover, training at all levels and in particular in the field of aviation information and the importance of exchanging experiences with the world’s centres specializing in aeronautics and flight information areas.
