Egypt’s Customs Authority started, at the beginning of January, to reduce the customs value on the cars imported from European Union (EU), according to the partnership agreement which Egypt signed with EU in June, 2001. The agreement is put into effective in June 2004 with a purpose of reaching European cars’ customs to 0 percent by 2019.
