Giza Pyramids to Host Shakira Live show on April 7

Must read

Global pop-star Shakira is set to return to Egypt for a live performance at the Great Pyramids of Giza on April 7, marking a major regional stop on her, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, World Tour and nearly two decades after her 2007 appearance at the historic site.

The upcoming concert is being staged by Venture Lifestyle and is expected to draw audiences from across Egypt and the wider Middle East, reinforcing Cairo’s growing profile as a destination for large-scale international entertainment events set against globally recognized heritage landmarks.

Ticket sales opened with strong demand. Entry-level Standing Wave tickets are priced at approximately EGP 7,055, while VIP Standing packages are listed around EGP 9,055, and Golden Circle / premium access categories reach approximately EGP 12,555, reflecting proximity to the main stage and enhanced access benefits. Early sales reports indicate that initial standing allocations sold out quickly, with premium categories still available through authorized ticketing platforms at the time of publication, yet prices may fly high.

Industry observers note that high-profile concerts at the Giza plateau typically experience accelerated booking momentum in the final weeks before the event, particularly for premium sections and hospitality-linked packages.

Shakira, whose Lebanese heritage has long resonated with Arab audiences, continues to command global touring demand. Her return to Egypt combines international pop performance with one of the world’s most iconic archaeological backdrops, positioning the April 7 show as one of the spring season’s headline cultural events.
