Investor Flows
Foreign investors remained net buyers, highlighting confidence in Egypt’s equities:
Non-Arab foreigners posted net purchases worth EGP 1.19 billion.
Arab investors bought EGP 125.7 million worth of shares.
Conversely, Egyptian investors were net sellers, offloading EGP 1.32 billion.
Analysts note that the divergence in flows reflects a growing foreign appetite for Egyptian assets, even as local investors remain cautious amid inflationary pressures and higher domestic yields.

Market Sentiment
Market watchers suggest the week’s rally was underpinned by selective foreign buying in blue-chip names, but note that domestic headwinds—including inflationary trends and tighter liquidity—could cap further upside. The EGX’s performance is likely to remain tied to macroeconomic signals, currency stability, and continued foreign portfolio inflows.
