Misr Fertilizers Production Company (MOPCO) has achieved a major milestone in its quality and performance journey, after its laboratories obtained the prestigious ISO/IEC 17025 international accreditation — a global benchmark for laboratory efficiency, precision, and reliability in testing and calibration.
The accreditation was granted following comprehensive technical and administrative evaluations that confirmed the company’s adherence to international standards. The achievement comes under the directives of Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and with the support of Ibrahim Mekki, Chairman of the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM), as part of MOPCO’s wider strategy to enhance technical operations, quality assurance, and manufacturing excellence.
Company officials described the certification as a validation of years of investment in laboratory infrastructure and human capital.
