Once again citizens of the world wake up overwhelmed by news of a fresh terror attack on unsuspecting innocent British citizens and visitors. This time the attack claimed lives of seven people injuring forty-eight more as walk-bys were van rammed and stabbed at the London bridge and the Borough Market. Three assailants were shot killed by the British police in one of many recent Islamic Terror attacks on Britain that included a recent suicide bombing killing 22 people in a Manchester concert, an attack that the British authorities stated to already have held large part of its linked network under custody. The Manchester attack caused public concern about the possibility of its prevention in light of surfaced press reports stating that the suicide bomber British born Libyan Salman Abedi might have been an MI5 asset and that the FBI has warned them in Jan 2017 that he has been planning for an attack in London. As a matter of fact, if we dig deeper in history, failure to prevent an Islamic terror attack at home land is not the worst thing the British government has been accused of, investigation could lead to a much more serious claim of crime against humanity.
It is not unheard of or even surprising to know that intelligent services around the globe sometimes support and finance certain groups in other countries to serve their interest, especially in the times of complex situations where an enemy of an enemy could be used for greater good, but it is a totally different ball game when the group they support happens to be an enemy of humanity in General and ends up to inflict grave damage to their own citizens!
Mark Curtis is a British historian and journalist wrote a book in 2010 titled “Secret Affairs: Britain’s Collusion with Radical Islam” in which he explores the support and accommodation of Islamic terrorist groups by British Governments and intelligence services in the pursuit of short-term policy goals. In the book, Curtis states that by 1942, Britain had definitely begun to finance the Brotherhood. On May 18, 1942, British Embassy officials held a meeting with Egyptian Finance Minister Amin Osman Pasha, in which relations with the Brotherhood were discussed, and a number of points were agreed upon.
One was that “subsidies from the Wafd [Party]—a moderate nationalist party—to the Ikhwan al Muslimeen would be discreetly paid by the [Egyptian] government and they would require some financial assistance in this matter from the [British] Embassy.” Curtis adds: “A British embassy report from Cairo in late 1951 stated that the Brotherhood ‘possess[es] a terrorist organisation of long-standing which has never been broken by police action’, despite the recent arrests. However, the report otherwise downplayed the Brothers’ intentions towards the British, stating that they were ‘planning to send terrorists into the Canal Zone’ but ‘they do not intend to put their organisation as such into action against His Majesty’s forces’. Another report noted that although the Brotherhood had been responsible for some attacks against the British, this was probably due to ‘indiscipline’, and it ‘appears to conflict with the policy of the leaders.’ “
Today some argue that violence of the brotherhood ended by execution of Qutb in 1966, Sayyid Qutb and Hasan El Banna are known to be the ones responsible of forming the theological foundation of the brotherhood aiming to enforce Shariah law in the universe, Qutb is known as the father of modern Jihad. This argument doesn’t explain why the FBI found a document called “An Explanatory memorandum for the general strategic goal for the brothers in North America” when they raided a brotherhood house in North Virginia in 2004. It is a document that outlines the Muslim brotherhood strategy to take over America from within. This document was written by Mohamed Akram El Adlouni in 1991 (a member of the Shura Council of the brotherhood), it stated: “The Ikhwan [Brothers] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet.”
The question that remains to be answered, how much more English and US citizens’ blood need to be spelled before US and British governments decide to care less about their Turkish Brotherhood government ties and officially declare the brotherhood as a terrorist group as their Egyptian, Saudi, and Emirati counterparts did? Needless to say, that the FBI presented documents designating more than 200 Muslim Brotherhood organisations as supporters of a terrorist group which led to the closing of the Holy Land Foundation in 2008. A US court imprisoned nearly a dozen people for their connections to these organisations and roles in helping funnel money to “Hamas” (A brotherhood branch) already declared as a terrorist group by the United States government.
