US elected president Donald Trump has appointed Dina Habib an advisor for the economic initiatives in his administration. Trump said in a statement that Dina had outstanding skills and tremendous record in the public service, and passed great professional experience in the private sector. “I have recognised its strategic supervision on the fundamental programmes and initiatives, and she is a leader in the economic growth, and the empowerment of woman in many parts of business and project development,” added Trump
Dina Habib Powell, 43 years old, who was born in Egypt, takes chair of Goldman Sachs foundation which has provided business education for 10 thousands female entrepreneurs in 43 countries since 2008. Its results have been impressive as the revenues of 82 percent of the foundation’s graduates and have increased and 71 percent have bee provided labour opportunities. In 2014, Dina entered in a partnership with the World Bank to provide a capital 600 million US dollars for nearly 100,000 small and medium female projects throughout the world.
Dina Habib says that women in communities witnessing a wide social and political instability are getting up everyday to find ways to move forward for themselves and their families, and for their communities at the end, and this is the return on investment (ROI) she is looking for. Dina is likely to play a main role in helping Trump’s administration on forming links with women after he had exposed to harsh criticism when he said women who seek abortion must be punished.
Dina’s first appearance emerged at the beginning of 2004 when she worked with former president G.W.Bush charity initiatives. Dina was assigned before to the position an aide to minister of foreign affairs for education and cultural affairs, and deputy undersecretary of ministry of foreign affairs for public diplomacy affairs. Dina emigrated from Egypt to United States at 14 years-old. She graduated from Texas University and assisted the Republican senator Pillay Hutchison when he was a member of Texas’s House of Senates, who described her as an extraordinary woman.
