These guidelines will help you effect workplans to achieve all your goals within the given constraints and challenges. Also, it leads to optimizing the allocation of necessary inputs and integrate them to meet pre-defined objectives.
The following guidelines are some helpful tips to follow for a successful project management:
1 – Ensure you have full project details before starting, creating a completely detailed project scope approved by all stakeholders including the following:
- Project Overview (the business’s drivers – the business’s

- Objectives of the project
- Scope of the project
- Assumption and risks.
- Organisation (the project team – the sponsors – the related parties).
- Initial effort, cost and duration estimates.
- Approvals (the plane – stakeholders’ s agreement about the plan – approvals of all concerned authorities).
2- Have the right project management team in place, skills and experiences.
3- Limit the size of the project teams, and involve people with skills matching the project requirements.
4- Create a workable roadmap and assign people’s roles and responsibilities.
5- Be clear about who is responsible for work’s programme and deadlines.  As it is necessary that each member of the team understands what is expected from him, including the full scope of work and the timelines of tasks.
6- Make sure that you have a good system for managing the project, allows for a smooth communication and information sharing.
7- Keep team members motivated by rewarding them when milestones are reached.
