Dr Ashraf El-Shihy, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr Mahmud Sakr, a head of Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, and Dr Hesham El-Deeb, a head of the Electronics Research Institute (ERI) launched a new technological incubator “Tarieic” at ERI’s headquarter. Financed by the National Program of Technological incubators “Intilaq”, the new incubator is specialised in electronics, under the technical supervision of the ERI.
“Tarieic” is the first incubator pertaining to the electronic industry, supporting innovators and startups in various areas of electronics, focusing on strategic projects and the return on national economy. Problem-solving and industrial challenges are amongst the goals of “Tarieic”, through receiving the problems from the industry’s pioneers and bodies in Egypt, and finding solution emerging from advanced innovative ideas.
