Cairo hosts 23rd international forum of fertilizers within the period from January 31st to February 2nd in the hotel “Intercontinental Semiramis”, will hold by the Arab Fertilizer Association under the auspices and support of the Egyptian companies under the slogan “Arab Producers of fertilizers under a lasting shine“. The International Forum for fertilizers is the prominent economic event at the level of the fertilizers industry in the Arab and Middle East area with expected attendance exceeding 500 important persons including Chairmen of International and Arabian Fertilizers Companies, Chairmen of International Authorities and Organisations, and a big number of senior experts, in addition to the executive and general managers who represent more than 133 companies, authorities from more than 33 countries all over the world.
The chemist Saad Abu Al-Maaty, chairman board of directors of Arab Union of Fertilizers and managing director of Abu Qir Company for Fertilizers stated, “This meeting, as well as Egyptian companies operating in the production of fertilizers receive all support from Egypt’s government since it was launched in 1995, which made it a fixed global appointment on Agenda of all operators and concerned persons in industry of fertilizers. He added that “the main axes of the forum include:
- The developments of the current policy and its effect on industry of fertilizers.
- The future outlook on demand and supply of global fertilizers.
- Global developments of main markets and future prospects of Nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, fertilizers’ markets.
- Renewable energy and the methodology of energy management.
- Fertilizers and water for the agriculture sustainability.
- Global food security and the role of fertilizers in the future agriculture.
- Natural Gas and its impact on industry of fertilizers.
The forum is accompanied by industrial exhibition in which some Arab and foreign companies related to industry, trade, and shipment of fertilizers from different world countries the modern products in the field of fertilizers industry.
