The National bank of Abu-dhabi – organised a one-day event discussing SMEs challenges. The Event tackled difficulties in building scale andcompetency, Sourcing relevant funding options, The power to attract highly-skilled senior staff, Economic and geopolitical factors and Pending regulations and what they mean.
The event brought together members from the Governor’s office, Central Bank, Social Fund for development and leading figures from the private and public sectors.
CEO – Egypt, NBAD Ahmad Ismail Hassan, commented that: “In many ways, Egypt provides a near-perfect template of the way the SME sector is at a critical tipping-point. Today’s event evaluated the crucial factors that can lead a business to greater levels of capability and capacity-building, providing a working guide for aspirational leaders and all those who want to see SMEs as catalysts in economic growth.”
