Consumer Protection Agency board of directors has decided to ban the following companies’ television commercials: Juhayna, Al Ahram Beverages, Cottonil and Dice which are broadcasted on TV channels. These commercials have been banned for their violation of personal dignity, disrespect of common sense and society norms and traditions, transgression of public morals and making ill use of children. Consequently, these commercials violate the standard specifications of act 4841 of 2005 and act 5008 of 2005. Banning goes into effect in 24 hours of notification date.
