“I belong to” Syrian initiative arrives tomorrow, Thursday, at its 2nd stop for this year, as it sets off at 6 pm from Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome, in cooperation with Syrian expatriates in Italy.
The initiative, organised by Syrian tourism ministry, will see holding a seminar on the cultural and archaeological heritage in Syria, in addition to the terrorist attacks against it. It includes as well displaying models of some Syrian artwork that have major historical and humanitarian significance, e.g., one of the oldest peace treaties in history following the Kadesh Battle, and icons from Maaloula City.
It is decided that journalists, scholars, clerics, and other official and social figures will partake in the event.
“I belong to” was first kicked off in Warsaw on May 4, 2016, in cooperation with the Syrian embassy and Syrian expatriates in Poland.
