Chairman of the National Security Committee of the US House of Representatives Michael McCall visited The Pyramids on Monday for Easter “Sham El Nesem” with a delegation included a number of members of the US Congress where they expressed how fascinated is the ancient civilization and how they build the Pyramids.
Dr. Hussein Abdalbesar, general manager of the Pyramid area, met with members of the US delegation and their families, who were keen upon arrival to Cairo to visit the Pyramids, and listened to a detailed explanation about the history of the region and the most important monuments out, stressing on the depth of Egyptian-American relations and cooperation in the field of archaeological work and the development of archaeologists skills.
He pointed out the Media that the delegation was keen to visit the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx and the Panorama Museum Khufu’s boat, and expressed their happiness to visit the most important archaeological area in the world, and took souvenir photographs.
