For a Nation to succeed in developing and applying a vision for a society based on science and technology…
A system that incubates and develops innovators must be founded, one that needs a structural foundation to mentor and develop such a society. The first step would be building an agency with the based on latest technologies, soft and hard wares, well equipped to serve as the main hub and kick-off for mentoring and developing a modern society. The Biological, Chemical, Engineering -along with other science and technology branches- are rapidly developing today. To afford the proper budget and gain needed support to maintain and develop such agency, there would be a need for true partnership between civilian scholars and military discipline. Disciplines should be directed by the agency, after setting priorities accordingly to the country’s requirements. Technologies that support budget savings or technologies may lead to a unique market export product. Once you are on the road of innovation, what you can achieve is limitless.
The Second Step would be to formulate and execute research and development projects (R&D) to expand the frontiers of science and technology. The aim of the agency should primarily monitoring and funding research technologies within universities, business companies and Institutions, in line with providing an industrial facility with requirements needed for transforming such technologies into practical results. Marketing campaigns must continue up to the first 2 years of actual launching of businesses. There are hundreds of products that produced within such environments yielding billions of Dollars to the country’s economy. Such funding has also led to a consistent R&D Department within most leading companies across the globe. Further more, the R&D figure within a country’s budget is no longer a luxury, but a necessity for the survival of entities.
The third step is to create calibers, brain and labour force needed for developing such a society. Honoured students from science and technology departments should receive scholarships to develop and upgrade their knowledge and competencies prior to their graduation. They should be integrated within the society, whether through developing their own technological companies, joining a large R&D company team, universities or ministries for research and development purposes. Pending on the funding set for this project and its expected investment turnover, the project may be launched with the top 10 students from each S&T department or top even the 50. Incubating these talents and brains should be consistent by providing them with the proper environment of housing and utilities to deliver best returns.
Having a vision for such a society, means having a target to meet. Returns will not only maintain the growth of the project, but will also be reflected positively on the economy.
