The Egyptian Drug Authority honors Dr. Ahmed Kilani for his achievements within the Pharmaceutical Sector

Professor Dr. Tamer Essam, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority, honored Dr. Ahmed Kilani, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of EIPICO Pharmaceuticals Company, the largest Company within Acdima Group, in the presence of Professor Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, The Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs and Therapeutic Prevention, and Major General Dr. Bahaa El-Din Zidane, President of The Egyptian Unified Purchasing Authority and a large number of leaders from the pharmaceutical industry in Egypt, for EIPICO’s distinguished contributions in improving Egyptian exports of medical preparations in 2023. It is worth noting that Dr. Kilani led EPICO to be at the top of Egyptian Drug exports, as EIPICO’s exports represent 26% of Egyptian Drug exports to about 70 countries, out of which 30% exports to Africa.

Dr. Kilani has also brought about tremendous development in all aspects of EIPICO since he assumed its leadership in 2019, making it the first in drug production in Egypt. In addition to the major role that Dr. Ahmed Kilani is currently playing in deepening the pharmaceutical industry by establishing the EIPICO 3 factory for the production of biosimilars and preparations. Also the establishment with other companies the first multi-purpose factory for the production of pharmaceutical raw materials. In addition to the great national role played by EIPICO under his leadership in supporting the state’s efforts to manufacture and supply medicine to eliminate Hepatitis C, and also manufacture and supply of the necessary medicines to confront the COVID-19.
