Cairo, Egypt – Starting February 2025, the Giza pyramids will welcome visitors in the evening, offering a new, illuminated experience. The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has partnered with Orascom Pyramids Projects to ensure the site is well-lit and safe for night tours, including visits to the Sphinx and nearby archaeological sites.
Sherif Fathy, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, stated, “This initiative will offer a unique perspective, enhancing cultural appreciation and boosting tourism.”
