Pharma Overseas provides summer Internships in cooperation with Posla Academy

Pharma Overseas, one of the leading companies in the drug distribution market, announced the availability of a summer training opportunity for students this summer, in practical or theoretical colleges who are looking for training opportunities to improve their skills and gain experience in this field.

The Internship opportunities are available for students wishing to train for the undergraduate academic years and the internship can be part of the university’s graduation requirements or as an additional summer internship or both.

Sameh Hammam, Head of Human Resources at the company, said, “Pharma Overseas is one of the biggest supporters of providing early work experiences, which the company believes is important in motivating students to engage into such an important industry in Egypt, such as medicine.

Hammam explained that the summer training program is one of Pharma Overseas’ many initiatives to support Egyptian youth to gain valuable practical experiences and provide them with the necessary skills that qualify them for the labor market and its needs.

He added that the summer training this year is different from previous years, because it is sponsored by the Posla Academy, which will provide specialized training content in cooperation with experts in the field using the latest technologies and modern educational means.

He continued: Virtual reality technology will also be used, which will provide an integrated training environment, as this year’s training aims to enable the trainees to learn the techniques and mechanisms used in the distribution process, and the procedures followed, starting from the arrival of the drug from the manufacturers until it reaches the pharmacist.

For his part, Dr. Sherif Raafat, Executive Director of Posla Academy, said that Pharma Overseas seeks to provide distinguished and high-quality training opportunities. Therefore, it cooperated with Posla Academy, which in turn will provide specialized training content in addition to providing training opportunities for students in cooperation with the most prominent companies in the pharmaceutical sector. 

It is worth noting that “Pharma Overseas” is the first drug distribution company to offer the summer training programs since 2019, and the program received about 800 students in 2021.
