Egypt seeks $15bn ADB loan

The Egyptian minister of investment and international cooperation said that Egypt is looking forward to obtain loans of $15 billion from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), allocated to renovate the country’s infrastructure.

Sahar Nasr added during the Belt and Road forum which comes as part of the Chinese Silk Road initiative that the ADB has assigned huge finances to pump in energy investments, rural development, and logistics.

According to the minister, Egypt is closely working to strengthen economic cooperation with its global partners, in order to unleash the country’s unlimited potentials.
