Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has received an invitation from Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to attend the Arab Islamic American Summit to be hosted in Riyadh on 21 May.
The Egyptian presidential spokesman, Alaa Youssef, said in a statement on Sunday that the Saudi minister of state for civil service, Khaled Al Araj, handed the invitation to El-Sisi to attend the summit, which will be attended by US President Donald Trump.
Last April, King Salman had met El-Sisi is Riyadh and agreed on developing bilateral relations between the two countries to fight terrorism.
