The minister of commerce and industry, Tarek Kabil, said that a new company will be established to market Egyptian phosphate and coordinate with producers.
Kabil added during the third National Youth Conference, which is held in Ismailia, that the price of local phosphate could be cheaper than in other countries, as it has higher purity and less impurities.
Studies are being carried out to make the best use of the phosphate in producing fertilizers and phosphoric acid to raise the added value of the Egyptian product.
The minister also pointed to the importance of the Golden Triangle project, indicating that the 9,000-kilometer project is the future of Egypt with its industrial, agricultural, and touristic projects.
Tarek Kabil indicated that there could be coordination with security officials to establish a new industrial zone in north Sinai.
