Mrs Sherin Sabri, spokeswoman of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASTR), announced that the Egyptian team won 5 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze medals.
ASTR expresses its happiness for the Egyptian team’s success and honourable representation considering award-winning is honour for everyone.
ASTR currently prepares an honouring ceremony, attended by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and media outlets, to spotlight the real stars and the winning inventions according to the exhibition’s official results which come as follow:
Abd Al Rahman Omran, Egypt’s first innovator, was honoured in TV programme Al Qahera Tabtkr and won gold medal from Geneva exhibition for inventing a smart chair.
Zaki Abd Al Latif Zaki won gold medal for inventing a smart device to detect and predict drilling in early stages.
Tarek Shaaban won gold medal.
Ahmed Matar / Hader Abu Al Saud won gold medal for inventing a medication to cure Melanoma (most dangerous type of skin cancer).
Ehab Adel won gold medal.
Mohammed Awad won silver medal for inventing a portable solar device to extract water from the air using hydrophilic Solutions.
Taha Abd Al Hadi won silver medal for inventing a bed for ulcer prevention dedicated to wheelchair users.
Amal Al Sayed won silver medal for inventing a new perspective of solar cells.
Ismail Al Komi won silver medal for designing and manufacturing a remote control plane.
Ahmed El Gendy won bronze medal for inventing fusion internal combustion engine.
Waled Mohammed won bronze medal for inventing a smart heater for printers.
Mohamed Saad won bronze medal for converting factory exhausts to renewable energy.
Amina Mead won two bronze medals.
