Ten Chinese firms are prepared to visit Cairo early in April to discuss importing different agricultural produce, on the top of which stands orange.
Member of Agricultural Export Council Mostafa Al Nagary said that the visit comprises the Chinese delegation’s participation in “Egypt is the Silk Road Gateway” conference in collabouration with the China Federation of Industrial Economics (CFIE).
Egyptian Businessmen’s Association (EBA) announced earlier that Cairo will host the first round of the Belt and Road industrial and commercial conference.
China’s Belt and Road Initiative is a visionary, long-term plan designed to boost economic, trade, cultural and people-to-people ties between the Chinese Mainland and more than 65 countries spanning three continents, from Asia to Europe via Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, West Asia and the Middle East. The “Belt” and “Road” refer to the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
The forum will be a networking platform connecting project owners and operators, investors and services providers from related business sectors, which helps participants to build new connections and discuss collabourations with potential partners of related businesses.
