Minister of Planning, Follow-up and Administrative Reform, Hala Al-Saeed confirmed that Egypt has managed to safely cross the difficult economic conditions after successfully passing the unprecedented reforms during the past period, stressing that it is now on the right track.
Al-Saeed said in an interview with Al-Mal newspaper that she focuses on increasing spending on infrastructure projects to improve the citizens living and pave the way for investors, in addition to increasing investments implemented to qualify the human element through the expansion of spending on education and health.
She pointed out that the total investments during the next fiscal year 2018/2017 is estimated at 600 billion pounds, stating that discussion is underway with the economic group on the government investment contribution volume.
She stressed that they will never retreat from the reform measures that were put in place to obtain an IMF loan, pointing out that these reforms represent the vision of the government that works on how to make the best use of them.
