Egypt is to partake in the economic conference in St. Petersburg on June 16
Cairo held preliminary talks with Moscow over signing 4 executive agreements on Dabaa Nuclear Plant, and had other discussions with The Export-Import Bank of Korea’s delegation on granting $3bn funds to implement several projects in Egypt.
Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr discussed with the Russian Ambassador to Cairo Sergei V. Kirpichenkov, at the presence of Minister of Trade and industry Tarek Qabil, enhancing joint economic cooperation. They have also considered the latest updates of the 2 agreements on setting up the nuclear station with Russian financing, which were signed in November 2015. By virtue of these two, 4 principle deals, which are considered the green light to starting the project, were sealed. The meeting also saw conversing about boosting joint relations in different fields, including trade and industry.
Kirpichenkov invited Nasr and Qabil to attend the economic forum that will be held in St. Petersburg from 16 to 18 June, under the auspices of the Russian president, and in which nearly 400 persons participate every year.
