In an initiative to improve performance at petrol stations in the United Arab Emirates, director of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Abdullah Salem Al Zaheri went undercover as a gas station worker in order assess first-hand the quality of customer service.
Activists have expressed their admiration for the initiative on social media, calling for all service sector leaders in the country to follow the company’s example to find the best way to serve customers.
ADNOC is the UAE’s State oil Company was founded in November 1971 in order to operate in all oil and gas marketing areas. It has since expanded to affiliated fields such as the shipping and petrochemical industries.
