While the camera was rolling over the guests of the New Suez Canal Inauguration ceremony, it hit two of the most influential pioneering role models for all Egyptians; Professor Sir Magdy Yacoub, the Egyptian cardiothoracic surgeon and the Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Imperial College London and Dr. Ahmed Zeweil, the father of the femtochemistry, the Nobel Prize Winner in Chemistry in 1994.
Sitting in the first row of the ceremony inauguration panel the internationally renowned cardiac surgeon Magdi Yacoub is caught by camera shots having a little chat with the Nobel Prize Winner Dr. Ahmed Zeweil.
It is also believed that Dr. Zeweil arrived Thursday morning in Cairo International Airport holding the Egyptian flag to take part of the ceremony amid a wave of rising anticipation for Egypt’s multi-billion grand project opening.
