Governor of Damietta, Dr Ismail Abdel-Hamid Taha, said that President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has realised the dreams of Damietta residents regarding the furniture city that will be established over a 331 feddans. The governor said that President Sisi has given the green light for carrying out the project in Damietta to bring together the sporadic furniture workshops and working places.
Furniture and wood manufacturing are the main and principal vocation of the Damietta residents. Setting up a furniture-making city has been a popular demand raised by the Damietta residents since more than 20 years.
