Germany, England and France support the Egyptian budget

Dr Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, stated that Germany, France and England are among the major industrial countries, which decided to support the Egyptian budget in all economic reform programmes. The ministry signed agreement with €175 million to support the budget and a €3 grant to support the electricity sector. It also signed agreement with €30 million to support the health sector and another €1 million grant, in addition to an agreement of € 50 million to support the sanitation project in Alexandria and € 100 million agreement to develop trams in Alexandria.
