As the war on Gaza continues, the world remains cold and clueless witnessing the Genocide of a race.
For so long developing countries were convicted for violating human rights, yet today and for over a month we view a massacre of Women, Children and Elders along with a complete and structured destructure of a city, we no longer hear talks about human rights and not even a valid Condemnation of Israel. The world has gone into a complete hypnotic status unmoved and untouched, announcing out loud the collapse of International humanitarian Laws and related Institutions, stating that human rights is a political joke that has never been a true concern and announcing that Arm forces over-rules humanity.Wars are not won by
the strength of your Arm forces as much as they are won by the Grace of God, as history has proven. The US is backing Israel’s war against Gaza’s infrastructure and population, not only by money and weapons but by further giving legitimacy to the on-going Genocide. History states that the US did not accomplish its intended purpose of making a war in Vietnam to contain the spread of communism in Asia. The Communist North won the war, and Vietnam became a one unified Communist country.
In the immediate wake of the attacks on 9/11 and the swift ousting of the Taliban government, the US focus was on building a new legitimate government in Kabul. Even when senior Taliban leaders offered to surrender in exchange for amnesty, there was no space for consideration of it because the US was winning (battles), and after a 20-year war in Afghanistan, General Mark Milley, Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff told the House Armed Services Committee “It is clear, it is obvious to all of us, that the war in Afghanistan did not end on the terms we wanted, with the Taliban in power in Kabul,” Milley stated, to the committee hearing about the US troops pullout from Afghanistan and the chaotic evacuation from the capital Kabul, that “The war was a strategic failure”.In October 2002, the United States Congress passed a joint resolution which granted Bush the power to use military force against the Iraqi government. The Iraq Resolution claimed the intent was to disarm Iraq of weapons of mass destruction, and to end Saddam Hussein’s support for terrorism, and to free Iraqi people. Later, the world realized that the US administration lied about Iraq’s alleged weapons of mass destruction to launch the invasion. In 2011, the US left Iraq in messy struggles between sects aliong with a new terrorist group (ISIS) that has for years that followed infested the country and the Region into suffering, enslavement, torture and terrorism.
Standing behind Israel’s claim and aim for destroying Hamas blindly is slipping the US into a new strategic tragedy.
The US needs to realize that its neutrality in the Palestine/Israel case originated from its active participation in the 1977 peace treaty held between Egypt and Israel, yet over the years its neutrality over the case has proven chained to one side over another which lead to choking an ultimate resolution, whether this was intended or forced, it is time to learn from past experiences and realize that winning battles is something, but winning in wars and achieving your goals is another and to be the leader, the world looks up to, you need to take charge and lead towards the right path as previously done in 1977.
Building for a future of peace and prosperity through focusing on Ceasefire in Gaza and setting the stage for a Two State solution to bring this case to a closure Fairly should be the focus of the strategy towards which the World led by the US can look forward to in the midst of such chaos.
It is about time that the US Foreign policy realizes its responsibilities and understands that Victory in wars and achieving your goals goes hand in hand with God’s will towards the right track and not the devil’s track for destruction. In other words, Winning stability and peace for Palestine will ultimately bring prosperity to Israel.
