“Arab Science and Technology Foundation (ASTF) holds workshops for innovators”
ASTF President, Dr Abdalla Al Najjar, said that the foundation plans to hold an “Open Day for Innovations” programme in its Cairo office during March the “Month of Science and Egyptian Innovation”. The programme will be held every Thursday, throughout the month of March, during which ASTF Cairo office staff will receive Egyptian innovators and entrepreneurs to help develop and promote their work, and answer their questions.
Moreover, innovators will have the chance to get acquainted with ASFT’s expertise in research, innovation and entrepreneurship. They will be guided towards the perfect way to blend in the world of business and investment, as well as to launch their energetic start-ups.
Dr Abdalla Al Najjar said: ASFT will provide all sorts of technical consulting, support and partnerships. It will assess innovations’ applicability as a step towards conducting feasibility studies. This shall help innovators reach out to investors, businessmen, and venture capital funds to transform their ideas to businesses or start-ups. But these businesses must fulfill societies’ needs through providing high-quality and low-priced products and services to Arab and local markets.
