The Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon) has signed a deal with the International Dar Al Bandar Company (Arabic Landmark), to build an integrated 150,000-sq-m warehouse centre at Sudair City for Industry and Business, according to a report.

The International Dar Al Bandar Company has the franchise for many famous brands such as Centrepoint, Homecentre, IMax, Citymax and others, said the Saudi Gazettereport.

The deal represents only the first phase of the project, with the deal for the second phase expected to be signed next year, expanding the centre to an additional 300,000 sq m, it said.

The contract was signed by director general of Modon Saleh Al-Rasheed, and Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Khalid Al Saud, chairman of board of Arabic Landmark.

“Sudair City for Industry and Business, which is the largest industrial city in Saudi Arabia today, is promising and constantly growing. The city is witnessing a steady growth in the number of factories and variety of services,” Al-Rasheed, director general of Modon, noted.
