The Global Media Congress (GMC) 2024 in Abu Dhabi concluded successfully, under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Hosted by the ADNEC Group and the Emirates News Agency, the event highlighted the UAE’s commitment to advancing global media. With participation from 840 media professionals and 218 organizations across 30 countries, the Congress focused on innovation and collaboration in a digital era.
Key figures, including Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, emphasized the UAE’s vision for a progressive media ecosystem. The Congress featured 96 panels, workshops, and keynote sessions addressing industry challenges and opportunities. Jamal Al Kaabi noted a 16% expansion of the event’s scope, reinforcing its global significance.
Humaid Al Dhaheri celebrated the Congress’s role in positioning Abu Dhabi as a media innovation hub. Recommendations included fostering strategic partnerships and equipping media firms to thrive digitally, aligning with the UAE’s vision for a culturally diverse and united media landscape.
