King Abdullah ben Abdel Aziz of Saudi Arabia reiterated in his congratulatory cable to Field Marshal Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on his sweeping victory in Egyptian presidential polls, the kingdom’s continued support of Egypt at both political and economic. He stressed that any attempt to harm Egypt is considered an infringement on the kingdom as well as the Arab and Islamic worlds. He also warned that any country that would fail to contribute to help Egypt would “have no future place among us.’
King Abdullah’s message has many meanings; First is that Arabs will firm as an immune shield against whatever economic or political plots knitted against Egypt regardless of what these conspiracies are or the kind of support re Egypt would need in face them.
Secondly, the message high is lighted an important item, which is the solidarity of the Islamic to world which certainly carries an important connotation to the owners of the Mideast scenario who might adopt a hostile stance and those importing Arab petroleum and gas. It also implies that Arabia and the other oil-rich countries owe Islamic countries and that they must return the favor when needed.
Thirdly, the Saudi monarch stressed that justice and firmness are keys to governance in order to be able to cut the throats of devil and its soldiers ground and which means that Egypt and the other Arab countries should harshly confront all conflicts and scenarios targeting the Arab world.
Fourthly, King Abdullah called for an Arab donor conference to help Egypt overcome its economic ordeal, warning that any country that would fail to contribute helping Egypt will have no future place among Arab countries. Though this warning is mainly directed to Arabs, it is also a warning to international donors and monetary funds.
The cable of the Saudi monarch is a tantamount to a statement by an army soldier standing on the frontline of a group of volunteers to support the Arab right and social justice regardless of the powers facing him. King Abdullah is like big brother for all Arabs, a sponsor ‘s courageous in facing cyclones with a lion heart.
