POOR IN THE WORLD FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD CLASS

Must read

According to the Central and Statistics (CAPMAS), there are six million poor people in Egypt, including 2.474 million in Upper Egypt with an  average annual expenditure of 3,979 pounds. The highest poverty rates in Upper Egypt is reported in Assiut with 61.7 percent then Qena (59.6), Sohag (55.8%) and Aswan (44.7%).

The number of poor persons in Cairo is estimated at 18.26 percent, 10,6 percent in Giza, 5.3 percent in Suez, 9 per cent in Damietta while it hit lowest level in the Red Sea with 3.8 percent.

What is strange is that the CAP- MAS considered the public servants, who make up six million people, poor persons while it totally ignored the impoverished people in the slums, remote areas, and desert, along the sides of the rail tracks and in areas that are not reachable by the agency employ .

The number of poor people is increasing in Egypt because the government does not have a five or ten-year plan, the growth in population number is not met by better living conditions and the increase price is not met by an increase of monthly wages.

Those poor people are suffering from high bread price, absence of state-subsidized bread growing fees of private tutors, increasing bills of electricity consumption, cooking gas cylinders, water and taxes in addition to year by-year increase of university and school fees.

Some of these pour people spend what they earn on alcohol, drugs, tobacco and on having more than one wife.   They start to lend money be able to pay for their monthly needs and resort to meet their monthly obligations.

Undoubtedly the next president will face difficult problems;  some of them need swift decisions and others need more time to fix a solution.   What we need is to form a permanent committees to help the new president address these problems,  achieve for social justice,  stability and stand against hostile currents both inside Egypt and out- side  course all world countries from the US to China are suffering from poverty but with variable classes.  Some of them rely on 1 bread and cheap popular meals while others eat some bread with burger and hot dog but some eat leftovers of McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Fish and chips which are thrown in waste pins. So even first, second and third class.
