Gilles Kepel, a French political scientist and specialist of the Islam and contemporary Arab world, said a year ago Egypt raised the slogan of “Islam is the solution” but now Islamists have proved that they are not capable of ruling the country.
I do not think that Islam is the Solution in Egypt, Tunisia or anywhere else. What is the Islam they mean?
Is it the Islam of the Muslim Brotherhood or the Salafists or youths?
After assuming power the Islamists proved for no doubt that they are not capable of ruling. Their rule caused serious deterioration in the economic and social domains, triggering a popular outrage that overthrew Morsi from power.
Our commentary is that despite all circumstances there was at least security, stability and active economy before Morsi came to power.
But unfortunately, after the Muslim Brotherhood rose to power, the country plunged into instability, chaos, insecurity, and economic deterioration, total recession in addition to a complete failure in running the country at all levels.
These conditions fomented anger among workers and bourgeoisie class, especially in light of conspiracy between Morsi government and the hostile Arab countries.
And now after the Beblawy government began to work, signs of economy recovery start to emerge while the army and police continue to regain control of the country and fight terrorism in remote areas.Â
I can now assure everyone that foreign maneuvers have flopped, the hostile currents started to lose its way and the country is day after day getting back its stability.
