CAIRO — Paradise Textiles, part of Alpine Group, has announced plans to invest $102m in an integrated fabric manufacturing facility in Amreya Free Zone, positioning Egypt as a growing hub for sustainable textile production.
The project, company-announced, is expected to create around 1,200 jobs and will be supported by a $72m financing agreement with Commercial International Bank, underscoring institutional backing for export-oriented manufacturing.
According to the company, the facility will produce high-performance polyester and knitted fabrics for global sportswear brands, targeting US and European markets. It will integrate energy-efficient systems and advanced environmental monitoring technologies, including a microfibre filtration solution aimed at reducing industrial emissions.
The investment aligns with Egypt’s strategy to attract textile FDI, leveraging Qualifying Industrial Zones (QIZ) access to the US and geographic proximity to Europe, as global apparel supply chains undergo realignment.
The plant is expected to begin operations by Q3 2026, subject to implementation timelines.
