Must read

Egypt’s Industrial Development Group (IDG) has launched a major new industrial complex, e2 New October, in New October City, covering 1.6 million square metres and backed by EGP 4.8 billion in investment. The announcement marks one of the largest recent expansions in Egypt’s industrial infrastructure.

According to the company, the project will host up to 100 factories across industrial, logistics, commercial, administrative and service sectors. Land plots were opened to investors in the second half of 2025, with full construction and delivery scheduled within three years.

IDG says the new park is designed to meet international standards, offering modern utilities, integrated logistics, and strategic proximity to major road networks. The group expects the complex to attract significant domestic and foreign investment and create thousands of job opportunities as part of Egypt’s broader industrial-development strategy.

The project builds on IDG’s previous developments in the region and is positioned to strengthen manufacturing capacity, support SMEs, and enhance Egypt’s competitiveness as a regional industrial hub.
