Pfizer has officially announced the appointment of Amr Seif as the Regional Director for Egypt, Levant, and Iraq, effective September 15. In this pivotal role, Amr will helm the company’s operations across the region and champion various initiatives that bring cutting-edge scientific innovations in vaccines, oncology, rare diseases, internal medicine, hospital care, inflammation, and immunology to the forefront.
Amr’s responsibilities will also encompass the development of strategic initiatives aimed at ensuring equitable access to Pfizer’s latest treatments. This will involve close collaboration with government agencies and regional partners to broaden the reach of advanced medical solutions.
Reflecting on his new appointment, Amr Seif expressed: “I am eager to lead Pfizer’s efforts in Egypt, the Levant, and Iraq. With over 22 years of extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Amr Seif has held various leadership positions, including President of Astellas Middle East and Africa in 2020 and General Manager for the Middle East, North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa in 2017. He began his illustrious career in 2004 at MSD Egypt and later advanced to key roles at Hoffmann La Roche Pharmaceuticals in Egypt, culminating in his appointment as the company’s director in the UAE.
Over the years, Pfizer has established a robust presence in Egypt, Levant, and Iraq, significantly contributing to the healthcare landscape in these regions.
