Americana, ADNOC Distribution to Open Up to 200 Restaurants Across Three Markets

Must read

Americana Restaurants has signed a strategic partnership with ADNOC Distribution to open up to 200 quick-service restaurant outlets across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, as both companies move to expand convenience, dining and mobility-related retail services across high-traffic service stations.

Under the agreement, Americana will introduce restaurants from its portfolio of 12 global brands across ADNOC Distribution’s network, integrating food outlets into the company’s roadside and mobility destinations, including “The Hub” locations that combine fuel services, convenience retail and electric-vehicle charging facilities.

The partnership supports ADNOC Distribution’s long-term strategy to grow non-fuel retail revenues by broadening customer services at its stations, while giving Americana access to high-footfall locations across three key regional markets.

For Americana, the deal comes as regional quick-service operators increasingly seek expansion through mobility hubs, fuel stations and convenience-retail platforms rather than relying only on traditional mall or street locations. The company said the partnership would bring its brands closer to customers during daily journeys, fueling stops and travel routes.

The agreement also reflects a wider shift in the fuel-retail industry, where operators are expanding food, beverage, car-care and EV-related services to reduce dependence on fuel margins and capture more consumer spending at service stations.

Americana Restaurants is one of the region’s largest food-service operators, while ADNOC Distribution has continued to expand its network and non-fuel offerings across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The new partnership is expected to strengthen both companies’ presence in the fast-growing mobility-retail and roadside dining segment.
