Mechanical and electrical department invites The Eligible Bidders to Submit Their Offers for “The Construction of the Kalapsho P.S-El-Dakahlia Governorate” under a turn-key contract.

The civil work contractor shall be level (1) in Egyptian Federation for construction & Building contractors on Public Works & Water and Thermal Power Stations or Stations and Water Drainage Networks and Fuel & Gas Networks.

A complete set of bidding documents can be purchased by interested bidders from MED during working daily hours upon the submission of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of LE 4000

Bids shall be submitted to the a/m address at or before 12 O’clock noon on April 22, 2025 in Two envelopes (Technical & Financial),

The technical envelope shall be accompanied by the bid security of total amount of

(EUR 150000 + LE 7000000).

Only the technical envelopes will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives at the a/m date and address.

Any bid received after the due time or not accompanied by bid security shall not be considered.

Financial envelopes shall be opened for only technically accepted bids at a date to be fixed later.

The Law No. 182 for the year 2018 and its executive regulations shall be applied, unless it conflicts with the conditions of OPEC Loan

Performance Security:

Ten percent (10%) of the total Contract Price (for foreign portion funded by OPEC fund)

Five percent (5%) of total contract price (for local portion funded locally)
