Dr. Tamer Essam, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority honored Dr. Hisham Abdel Aziz, Executive Managing Director of October Pharma, for the distinguished contributions made by the company in improving Egyptian exports of medical preparations in 2023.
This came in a major celebration organized by the Egyptian Drug Authority to honor a number of Pharmaceutical Companies in appreciation for their efforts in increasing exports of medical preparations and supplies and their contributions to the industry’s development of international standards and manufacturing.
The celebration was held in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs, Major General Dr. Bahaa El-Din Zeidan, Chairman of the Egyptian Unified Purchasing Authority, Dr. Tamer Essam, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority, and Advisor Dr. Mohamed El-Demerdash, Vice President of the State Council and Legal Advisor to the Authority in the presence of the Authority’s and Industry leaders.
Dr. Tamer Essam, head of the Egyptian Drug Authority, praised the efforts of national companies during the past period and pointed out that the Pharmaceutical and Unified Purchasing Authority are working according to a clear and specific strategy to support the access and exports of Egyptian pharmaceutical products abroad.
