The bank’s investment arm, CI Capital will advise on restructuring Al Ahly Sports Club by merging its media and sports businesses into a holding company ahead of a possible IPO in two years’ times.
CI Capital will also serve as financial advisor on a EUR 200-250 mn loan for Al Ahly Sporting Club to pay for a stadium in Sixth of October City, a project first announced during the 2015 Egypt Economic Development Conference.
